Through our “Aging in Place Assistance”program (APA),The Trusted Contractor supports older adults in staying at home and aging in place within their chosen communities and residences. Our local affiliates work with human services groups to assess individual needs and deliver essential home repairs, modifications, and community services tailored to each homeowner’s lifestyle, helping preserve independence, integrity and housing.
The need for Senior home care is immense. According to Habitat for Humanity…“Older Americans represent one of the fastest-growing groups in the nation—by 2030, 20% of the U.S. population will be 65 or older. Yet more than 19 million older adults live in homes that are in disrepair or poorly suited to meet their needs safely.”

We provide following services:
- Wheelchair Ramps - provide vital accessibility by bridging vertical elevation changes for people using wheelchairs, scooters, or walkers.
- Grab Bars - critical accessibility devices designed to prevent slips, maintain balance, and support body weight in high-risk areas like bathrooms.
- Curbless Showers - is a zero-entry, barrier-free bathing space with a continuous floor surface that eliminates the raised threshold between the shower and the rest of the bathroom.
- Retractable and pull-down shelving systems -help seniors safely access items in upper and lower cabinets without needing dangerous step stools or painful bending.
- Accessible Bathrooms -equires a minimum space of 60 inches by 56 inches with a door width of at least 32 to 36 inches for safe turning and entry.
